Anchor links are an excellent way for page visitors to navigate through your landing pages quickly. Here’s how you can add them to your landing pages using HubSpot modules.
We’re going to add an anchor link to a section of the landing page and make it so the “About” button at the top brings users to this section:
To start, we’re going to search for “anchor” in the search bar on the left-hand side:
From there, drag and drop the anchor onto the about section. To make things easier, you’ll then want to give the anchor a name. To do this, click on “contents” on the left side, click on the anchor, name it, and then click on “Apply Changes.” We’ve named this one “About”:
Next, click on the section name in your landing page navigation bar. Scrolling down in the window on the left side, you’ll see an option to edit the menu:
After clicking on edit, you’ll see fields on the left side indicating the different menu buttons on your page and fields on the right for inputting links. In this case, we’ll write “#about” on the right side next to our about section:
Once that step is complete, you’ll have a fully functioning navigation bar on your landing page using anchor links.
