In some cases, you may want to transfer primary ownership of a Business Profile to an existing Owner or Manager.
For a single Google Business Profile:
- Go to your Business Profile.
- Select the three-dot menu >>Business Profile settings >> People and access.
- Select on the person you'd like to change access.
- If the person is not on the list, you need to invite him/her first. Once the person accepts the invitation, you can set up access.
- Select the user’s role >> Primary owner.
- Then, select Save.
For Business Location Groups
- Select the Business Group you'd like to transfer Primary Ownership for
- Click on Group settings on the right.
- Click on Manage users.
- Add/change access for the person you'd want to transfer the primary ownership to.
Note: You don't need to remove the other profiles that have access to a Profile or Business Group. You can change their access level to Manager.
